Our Gluggle Jugs are only produced using the finest British raw materials as we are located in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. It’s also known as the Potteries – the traditional home of ceramics in England and famed across the world. But it’s not just our location or our unique 200 year history which sets us apart.
With craftsmanship at the very heart of our company, we’ve developed an intricate process which ensures quality at every stage of manufacturing.
Vitrification, from vitreum, Latin for “glass” is the most important, and perhaps the most poorly understood, process in ceramics. A glass formed in the process of vitrification, even in tiny amounts, is what holds ceramic materials together.
Our Gluggle Jugs are fully vitrified which means they are impervious to water, an essential property where food safety is concerned.
Each colour Gluggle Jug is available in three different sizes.
Our selection of sizes gives you creative freedom on how you choose to utilise your jug.
